Introducing Procreate tools - beginning with digital color palettes for you!

The latest illustration app to become a sensation is Procreate, and I have to say - I’m a huge fan! I recently downloaded this drawing app onto my iPad, and I’m learning how best to use it. There are a plethora of tools available standard in the app and available for purchase online. One of these being custom color palettes!

Do you know when you’re creating a new design and you just can’t figure out what colors to use? Especially for branding, it’s very important that the hues do what you want - whether that be blend together in harmony or play off each other in their boldness. As an artist I’ve learned to make colors “work” through trial and error. It’s actually harder than it looks!

So I’ve delved into the world of digital color palettes, and I hope it helps my clients achieve the look their going for without expending needless energy on color choices!

My first set of hues is inspired by a little bird painting I did, and features popular colors that remind me of a bohemian palette. I named it Soft Beatnik! Try it out and let me see what you make!
